Zaporizhzhya region received a new chief of police

The new chief of the National police of Ukraine in Zaporizhya region appointed Oleg Zolotonosha.

As reported by the Department of communication of the police of Zaporozhye region, on Wednesday 18 January the Zolotonosha was presented to the personnel of the regional police.

During the presentation the Deputy head of the national police Alexey Rudenko thanked the interim head of the police of Zaporozhye region Ivan Psenica. Addressing the personnel of the Zaporozhye police, Rudenko asked to support a new leader and stick together for the sake of the rule of law in the region.

In turn Zolotonosha said that his main task he sees for himself and his subordinates protecting the public and enforcing the law.

The chief also noted that one of the priorities for him is that the police acted in terms of the current legislation and is strictly adhered to the letter of the law.

Zolotonosha began service in bodies of internal Affairs in August 1998. After graduating from the Academy of the MIA of Ukraine in June 2005 continued to serve in operational and management positions gumvd of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

From June 2014 to November 2015, he held the position of head of the Department of combating crime in the sphere of economy Affairs of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region from December 2015 and 2016 – the first Vice-rector of Dnipropetrovsk state University of internal Affairs, candidate of legal Sciences.

Earlier, from March 2014 to October 2016, the cops region was headed by Viktor Olkhovsky.
