Warsaw has sent to Kiev a note because of the history with the mayor of Przemysl

The Polish Embassy was sent to the Ukrainian foreign Ministry a note with a request to explain the circumstances of the prohibition on entry for the mayor of Przemysl Robert Homa.

This was reported by spokesman for the Polish foreign Ministry Joanna Wajda, informs Interia.pl, reports «UKRINFORM».

«Now we expect the official reaction of the Ukrainian side. The foreign Ministry uses all possible arguments to clarify the situation,» said Wajda.

She explained that the note of the foreign Ministry of Poland is related to the request of the mayor of Przemysl to know about the details of the decision of the Ukrainian side.

We will remind, earlier the mayor of the Polish city of Przemysl Robert Homa said banning him entry to Ukraine.

The chief of staff of the Chairman of the SBU Oleksandr Tkachuk explained that the mayor of the Polish city of Przemysl Robert Homa, the security Service of Ukraine forbade entry into Ukraine for his participation in anti-Ukrainian events in Przemysl. He added that the SBU found out «that this person openly and deliberately stoked inter-ethnic and inter-ethnic enmity and purposefully work in this direction, but it harms the bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland».

10 December 2016 in Przemysl was a March of right-wing organizations, held under the patronage of the state institution Institute of national remembrance and the mayor of Przemysl. Such events are held in the city annually in December. One of the participants exclaimed Polish «Death to Ukrainians». The incident occurred in the evening, when the convoy passed by the Ukrainian people’s house who rents the Association of Ukrainians in Poland.
