Vandal who destroyed the exhibition of independence in Riga, was fined 70 euros

The HIG leader of the movement «Baltia» Stanislav Bukain sentenced to cash penalty of €70 for the damage of the exhibits of the exhibition «People of Maidan», which was held last autumn in the centre of Riga. It is reported Delfi.

Earlier, the state police of Latvia began a criminal process against Bukina, however during the investigation it was ascertained that in his actions there is no crime. In the end, a criminal trial was closed, and Bukina for disorderly conduct was fined 70 Euro.

The defendant’s lawyer stated that his client hadn’t intentionally messed up the exposure, but only wanted to be photographed against the background of the exhibition, when she collapsed.

We will remind, in October, two vandals have destroyed the exhibition «People of Maidan», which was located on the Brivibas Boulevard, near the building of the government of Riga. On this fact was initiated criminal proceedings on hooliganism. Later the Riga city Council banned the exhibition.
