The United States will provide Ukraine more than $5 million to strengthen Ukraine’s ability to counter cyber threats. This is stated in the joint statement of the first bilateral dialogue between the United States and Ukraine on issues of cybersecurity, which is at the disposal of the UNIAN.
Today Kyiv hosted the first bilateral dialogue between Ukraine and the U.S. on cybersecurity.
The U.S. delegation was headed by special assistant to the President and senior Director at the national security Council on international policy issues of cybersecurity, Joshua Steinman, assistant Secretary for cyber and international communications and information policy Robert Strier and Deputy coordinator on cybersecurity, the US state Department, Michele Markoff.
In addition, the composition of the American delegation consisted of officials of the US state Department, ministries of Finance, defense, energy, justice and homeland security and the Federal Bureau of investigation.

According to American diplomats, dialogue and strengthened cooperation in cybersecurity and ciberpolitica at the intergovernmental level.
