«Ukrpochta» has refused to accept a portion of utility bills in Kiev

The company «Ukrpochta» has refused to accept utility payments on account of the Kiev municipal enterprise «Main information and computing centre» because of the loss of this service. This is stated on the website of «Ukrposhta».

Kiev transferred to the account givc charge for cold water and Sewerage, and for the maintenance of buildings and surrounding areas.

In the second half of 2016, «Ukrposhta» has analyzed its cooperation with the MICC, and it turned out to be unprofitable. The remuneration received by the company from making payments will not cover the cost of providing this service. «Ukrposhta» asked givc to increase the Commission, but the utility refused.

December 31, 2016 the term of the contract between the companies ended, and «Ukrposhta» decided not to renew it, while the MICC will not make concessions.

The people of Kiev asked to pay the bills of commercial banks and electronic payment services.

We will remind, in November of 2016, the state-owned Oschadbank, the host to 50% of all utility bills, tried to introduce a fee for payment of utility services in their offices. But against this initiative were made by the President Petro Poroshenko, and the Bank did not take such a step.

Oshchadbank noted that the law prohibits banks to establish fees for banking services at below cost of operation. However, now the Bank accepts utility payments at a loss.
