Ukrainians owed for heating and hot water to more than 6 billion

Arrears on the payment of Central heating and hot water in October compared to the figure at the end of September increased by 21.3% and amounted to UAH 6.1 billion, reported the State statistics service of Ukraine.

According to the report, the amount owed for the maintenance of houses, constructions and house adjoining territories for the reporting period is unchanged at UAH 2.5 bn debt for export of household waste remained at the level of the previous month and amounts to 0.4 billion UAH.

The debt for centralized water supply and Sewerage decreased by 10.5% — up to UAH 1.7 bn.

According to state statistics, in October the Ukrainians paid for electricity of 1.8 billion UAH (86,6% of the assessed in this period amounts). The debt for electricity as of the end of October amounted to 3.2 billion UAH.

In October the Ukrainians paid for housing and communal services 3.6 billion UAH, which accounted for 56.9% of the assessed during this period amounts. The highest level of payment was observed in Volyn, Vinnytsia, Nikolaev regions (152,9%, of 106.9% and 101.6% respectively), and the lowest – in Kherson, Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk regions (27.2% and 25,2% and 33%, respectively).

It is also reported that in January-October 2016 the population was reached to 30.1 thousand agreements on debt restructuring for a total amount of 140,2 million.

As reported, the debt of residents of the occupied Lugansk on payment of housing services is about 46 million. About this separatist media reported calling himself «the Director of the municipal enterprise «CentreTelecom» Sergey Shatokhin.

According to the «Director», the debt originated in 2014, that is, since the occupation of Lugansk. «It is the duty of Luhansk on payment services (maintenance of buildings and adjacent territories) to date is 113 million rubles (at the exchange rate of the national Bank, about 46 million UAH — ed.)», – he admitted.

Note, the government plans to adopt a decision according to which all apartment houses will pay for heat according to the meters, even if the counter is not installed. The Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said Wednesday during the opening session of the government.

According to him, in the absence of meter will be applied the average value of c of those houses where the meters are.

From 1 July NKREKU doubled the tariffs for heat energy and Central heating for the population.

Bills for heat with excessive amounts that the some people of Kiev, was the result of an error and will be counted, said Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Kistion, who was apprised of the situation on behalf of Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
