Ukrainian stock index showed the highest yield at year-end 2017

In 2017, the Ukrainian stock index (UX) showed the highest yield in the world — it grew by 80%. About it reports Bloomberg.

Second places were taken by the stock market index of Kazakhstan (64% growth), and the third – Russia (63%). In last place in the world was Pakistan – its stock index has fallen by 22%.

The leader of the global currency market in 2017 became Mozambican metical with an increase of 21%. Followed by the Czech Koruna and the Polish zloty, the rates of which have risen by 18%. The worst investment option among currency has become a Uzbekistan sum, depreciating 60%.

The maximum profit received by the owners of cryptocurrency – bitcoin increased by 1500%. But investing in the virtual currency are considered to be very risky, the newspaper notes.

The most profitable investment for owners of commodities became the palladium, the rate of which increased by 54%. Copper and aluminum rose by 29%. The greatest losses brought natural gas (minus 27.5 per cent).

Among the securities of the largest growth for the year showed the government bonds of Greece (about 60%). Second and third place is Belize (38,7%) and Argentina (30%), respectively. The least profitable investment were the government bonds of Venezuela (minus 55%).
