Ukraine in case of reaching appropriate arrangements can be for a few hours to resume the electricity supply to the occupied Crimea on three restored power transmission lines of 330 kV, said the acting head of the NPC Ukrenergo Vsevolod Kovalchuk in Kyiv on Wednesday, March 30.
According to him, all damaged power transmission towers restored, but until it is directly on the border with Crimea cut. At the same time to connect them will need just a few hours, reports «Interfax-Ukraine».
«These (three lines of 330 kV transmission lines – ed.) is already completely restored, all bearings and damaged wires replaced, but the loops on the anchor-angular supports, close to adminpraise the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, cut physically,» said Kovalchuk.
He recalled that «Ukrenergo» together with «Khersonoblenergo» currently are working on the translation of the fourth line «Kakhovka — Titanium», which you can also transfer electricity to the Crimea, for a voltage of 150 kV to 220 kV.
According to Kovalchuk, this is a temporary solution to ensure the reliability of electricity transmission in the Kherson region until the completion of 330/150 kV substation «Aquilon» at the end of 2017.
«Ukrenergo» will complete work on the transfer line to a lower voltage before June 1, «Khersonoblenergo», until 15 June 2016.
November 20, 2015 at approximately 9:00 am, «unknown» was damaged two electric poles, leading to Crimea, in Genichesk and Chaplinka districts of Kherson region.

Mustafa Dzhemilev said that the Peninsula can expect no more than 200-250 MW, whereas total demand of electricity in Crimea is 1050-1100 MW.
