In the framework of the visit of Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin in Hungary signed an educational exchange programme between the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine and Ministry of human resources of Hungary in the years 2016-2018. About it on February 24, reported the press service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs.
«The provisions of this document provides scholarships for the study of Ukrainian students in Hungary and Hungarian in Ukraine», — stated in the message.
During the visit the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin held talks with Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Zsolt Seminom and Minister of external economy and foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyyarto.
The parties discussed the development of the situation in the Donbas and the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements, Ukraine’s progress in implementing reforms, the deepening of bilateral cooperation, including in the framework of international organizations, as well as a schedule of political contacts.
Separate attention during the meeting was paid to the need for unity within the EU on sanctions against Russia until full implementation by Moscow of its obligations in connection with the Minsk agreements. The Minister of foreign Affairs of Hungary noted that of key importance is the strict implementation of the Minsk agreements.
During a joint press conference following the meeting, Minister Klimkin expressed gratitude for the support of Hungary’s territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, the position of our country in the dialogue with the EU on visa-free regime and for providing the Hungarian side of humanitarian assistance.
Earlier it became known that Hungary will take over the treatment of 20 injured soldiers from the zone ATO.
