Ukraine and France signed a plan on bilateral defense cooperation in 2017

France and Ukraine have agreed on bilateral defense cooperation in 2017.

As stated on the website of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine, the delegation of the Ministry headed by the Director of the Department of military policy, strategic planning and international cooperation, Ministry of defence major General Anatoly Petrenko took part in the 22nd meeting of the joint Ukrainian-French Commission on bilateral defense cooperation.

«During a meeting of the Ukrainian-French intergovernmental Commission, the sides discussed issues of regional security and bilateral cooperation in the defense sector», — stated in the message.

«At the end of the event there was signed a Plan of bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of defence, the General staff of the Armed forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of defence and the headquarters of the Armed forces of the French Republic in 2017,» reported the defense Ministry.

As earlier reported, Ukraine has agreed on cooperation in military-technical sphere with Romania, great Britain, Canada, Sweden, Turkey, USA, Poland and the Baltic States.
