U.S. intelligence: the Kremlin will not abandon support for the rebels and still considers Ukraine as «little Russia»

The leaders of us intelligence agencies believe that Moscow will continue to support Pro-Russian forces in Ukraine in order to defend their interests.

Director of US National intelligence James clapper and CIA Director John Brennan addressed the Congress, and each, in his speech touched upon the situation in Ukraine.

Clapper said that, in his opinion, Russia «will continue to support the separatists, to protect its interests in Ukraine».

He noted that Russia still considers Ukraine as «little Russia».

Media also cite the words of Brennan, who noted that «it is unclear how Russia will get out» from the situation in Ukraine.
