U.S. district judge blocked a decision by trump to deport migrant minors

U.S. district judge William Alsup granted the request of California and other plaintiffs and blocked the decision of the President of the United States Donald trump to close the program for the protection from deportation of migrant children. It is reported by The Associated Press.

The program «deferred action for children arrivals» (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, DACA) will work, while the court considers the claims in the case.

According to Allsup involved in the case, the lawyers demonstrated that without the intervention of the court of young immigrants «can get serious and irreparable harm».

The program was introduced in June 2012, the administration of then-US President Barack Obama. It involves protection from deportation to illegal immigrants who entered the country minors. Under the program, they receive a renewable work permit.

Trump just cancelled on 5 September. It was assumed that it will be valid until March 5, 2018. During this period, already submitted applications, and applications for renewal of work permits in the U.S. will be considered. New applications to take not planned but for two years all existing permissions are valid until the expiration of their actions.

In connection with trump’s decision appealed to the court 15 States.
