«There are sources and methods, which they won’t tell. And I think any intelligence Agency will not talk about it. After you open, you can endanger the source of information, and that there will be no one to do, and the Russians too this will not do,» he said.
Tefft added that the security services had presented all the evidence to the Senate and House of representatives, which they convinced.
«Evidence was presented to representatives of the American people in the Senate and in the House, and almost unanimously voted for sanctions. No one asked questions. I know from colleagues that the evidence is compelling,» the Ambassador said.
He noted that the investigation of the Dutch Committee confirmed that the airliner was shot down from anti-aircraft missile complex «Buk», which was provided to the separatists by Russia.
«I think the Dutch authorities and their investigation is very clearly given to understand. There is a video.. which shows that it is precisely the Russian installation crossed the territory and then went back, and when one of the missiles was missing,» reminded Tefft.
