Elected President of the United States Donald trump is ready to offer Russian President Vladimir Putin sanctions relief in exchange for reductions in nuclear arsenals. He stated this in an interview with British newspaper the Times, reports the BBC Russian service.
Trump in an interview also criticized the Russian campaign in Syria, stating that it led to the «dire humanitarian situation».
«Against Russia sanctions — let’s see if you can achieve good agreements with Russia», — quotes the elected President Times.
«For starters, I believe that nuclear weapons should be reduced, and reduced very considerably, it might be a part of this process. However, Russia is now suffering greatly because of the sanctions, and I think that can happen something a lot of people will win,» said trump.
Trump has said it would start its activity on a post of the President of the United States that will trust Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, but it may not last. Merkel, he was criticized for a «catastrophic mistake» which she did, allowing millions of migrants to come to Germany.
He said that just a few weeks after taking office, will offer Britain a «fair» deal to make the country’s exit from the EU «a great thing». He also invited the Prime Minister Theresa may , immediately after his inauguration to visit the White house.
Trump believes that other countries followed Britain will leave the EU, as the EU is a great damage caused the immigration crisis.
