The President of the United States Donald trump refused to provide weapons to Ukraine, including anti-tank missiles Javelin, March 30, reports NBC News, citing senior officials.

Offers on weapons supplies to Ukraine promoted dismissed U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson. According to interlocutors of the edition, he held a meeting with the American President after trump’s advisers on national security has approved the plan of supply Kiev weapons. Tillerson proposed to speak on this subject with trump «in a few months during regular meetings».

According to several senior officials of the White house, presidential advisers spent months trying to convince him to sign the decision about the transfer of weapons to Ukraine.

Ukraine since the beginning of the military aggression of Russia in the spring of 2014 he negotiated with the United States to supply lethal weapons.
