Trojan withdrew from the contest for the position of head of national police

The acting head of the National police, Vadym Troyan made the decision not to continue participation in the competitive procedure for the position of head of National police of Ukraine.

«The Commission is carefully (and rightly) considered my experience in the field of law and asked me to help on the field activities in one of the private companies in which I worked. I’m not going to prepare such a statement. My opinion — the chief of police of Ukraine should be absolutely legitimate, which meets all the requirements of the Law is not amended, dopisok and exaggeration,» wrote a Trojan in Facebook.

«I was about 20 months time for unconditional pass all criteria of the contest. I accept it, and as an officer do not want any concessions and assumptions», he added.

We will remind, the previous head of the National police Khatia Dekanoidze resigned 14 November 2016. After that, interior Minister Arsen Avakov instructed to perform the duties of the head of the National police of its first Deputy Vadim Troyan.

Later the interior Minister announced a competition for new head of national police. He was served 64 people, including Trojan, his Deputy Konstantin Bushuev, head of criminal investigation Department Sergey Knyazev, the chief of police in Kiev, Andriy kryschenko, the head of the Odessa police Dmitry Golovin, Donetsk, Vyacheslav Abroskin, Chernihiv — Eduard Alyokhin and Chernivtsi — Sergey Piligrim.

On January 24 it became known that the competition made 43 candidates, and another five, including Trojan, requested additional documents.
