The winner of the Junior Eurovision for the third time became Georgia

A participant from Georgia Mariam Mamadashvili became the winner of the annual children’s Malta Eurovision song contest 2016, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

As reported by Georgian media, for all time of participation this is already the third victory over Georgia in the Junior Eurovision.

10-year-old Mamadashvili scored 239 points ahead of the Duo Mary Vardanyan and Anahit Adamyan from Armenia, who scored 232 points and was in second place. Third place went to Fiamma Bocce from Italy, who scored 209 points.

Young Georgian singer performed in the finals the song in their native language under the name of SEO (Sun).

Recall, Ukraine was represented by Sofia Role with the song Planet craves for love.
