The Verkhovna Rada refused an extraordinary meeting to cancel the Declaration activists

At the weekly meeting of Deputy groups and factions of the Verkhovna Rada raised the issue of holding an extraordinary session of Parliament to consider abolishing the mandatory electronic Declaration for the activists of public organizations. About this in Facebook said the first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko.

«According to regulations, this must collect 150 signatures of people’s deputies, or should be the decision of the conciliation Council with the participation of chairmen of factions and committees. None of the participants were not fundamentally opposed to extraordinary meetings, but noticed and recognized that to gather the 226 deputies in non-sessional week (when a lot of people have razehalis in the districts or mission) is unreal,» she wrote.

According to Gerashchenko, a word about the collecting the necessary number of deputies in a session-less day – «populist statements, but not attempt to solve the problem.»

First Vice-speaker of the Parliament noted that last week the issue of declarations of activists submitted «dozens of times» and voted for it less than 200 MPs.

Gerashchenko also confirmed that the issue is going to be put on the agenda for 3 April.
