The van Gogh Museum has published more than 1,800 of the artist’s works

The van Gogh Museum posted on electronic access 1800 posters, books and drawings that are in his collection. The management took this decision due to the fact that they are not placed in the permanent collection.

The full collection can be found on the Museum website. The archive includes several hundred French theatrical and advertising posters of the late XIX — early XX century.

All work is decomposed into categories and thematic sections: for example, «Ornaments», «City life», «art Nouveau». Most of the exhibits are also accompanied by short information about the author, time of creation and the style in which they are made.

According to the management of the Museum — online collection will be updated with new works.

Recall, Google has expanded its interactive program expeditions the world and presented to users an online tour of Buckingham Palace.

Previously, Google has created online access to 17 major museums in the world. The genre was picked up by other organizations. For example, a private 3D tour published amusement Park Dismaland coined by the artist Banksy.

At the same time, the Ukrainian office of Google launched the project «feel Odessa», where one can explore unknown and patios to enjoy the local flavor.
