The U.S. Congress has supported the beginning of the abolition of Obamacare

The house of representatives of the United States Congress voted for the abolition introduced during the presidency of Barack Obama reform health care provision — the so-called Obamacare, which, in particular, aims to provide access to medicine for the poor. About it reports Reuters.

The decision was supported by 227 congressmen voted against 198 persons, nine of whom are Republicans.

January 12, a resolution by a majority of votes approved the Senate. The document instructs the relevant committees of both chambers of Congress to develop appropriate amendments to the legislation to January 27.

The process to repeal Obamacare may last for several months and developing a plan to replace even more time.

The US President-elect Donald trump on his page in the microblog Twitter wrote that «expensive reform» will soon be history.

As you know, Obamacare is the slang meaning the name of healthcare reform and the protection of patients in the United States, which was designed to make health insurance more affordable and improve the quality of medical services, while reducing government spending. The law was signed by President Obama in 2010 and upheld by the Supreme court in 2012. Trump and the Republicans promised to curtail that reform, if elected, during the election campaign.

Thanks to Obamacare about 20 million Americans to obtain health insurance, but taxes for some of the country’s citizens has been greatly enhanced.
