The temporary acting General Director of Zaporizhzhya NPP was appointed Yuri kulba

Headed since August 2003 the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (NPP) Vyacheslav Tishchenko on July 22, 2016 transferred to the post of adviser to the permanent representative of the President of NNEGC «Energoatom» at the site of Zaporizhzhya NPP.

As explained to Agency in a press-service NAEK, acting General Director of Zaporizhzhya NPP was appointed chief engineer – first Deputy Director General of the station , Yuri kulba.

Zaporizhzhya NPP – the largest in Europe nuclear power station in terms of installed capacity. Its six VVER-1000 power units built by the Soviet project V-320. The first unit was commissioned in December 1984 and the sixth in October 1995.

«Energoatom» is the operator of all four operating NPPs of Ukraine. Operates Zaporizhzhya, South-Ukrainian, Rivne and Khmelnitsky stations with 15 generating units equipped with water-cooled power reactors with a total installed electrical capacity of 13,835 thousand MW.
