The Syrian opposition stated that a peace agreement has collapsed even before the action starts

The Syrian opposition claims that attacks by government troops have threatened a «total revocation» of the agreement on the ceasefire in Syria.

This was stated by the head of the delegation of the Syrian opposition at the peace talks Asaad al-Zoubi, reports «RBC-Ukraine» with reference to Reuters.

According to the’ad al-Zoubi, the peace agreement, which entered into force on 27 February, has collapsed even before the action starts.

«We have other ways to protect our people,» said al-Zoubi.

According to him, there is no reason to consider that preparing some kind of basis for peace negotiations, which the UN expects to resume March 7.

We will remind, France convened an urgent meeting of the working group on Syria for violating the ceasefire, which came into force on 27 February.

As reported, the Syrian opposition on February 28, informed the United Nations about the violation of the truce by the Syrian government and allied Russia and noted that such actions make impossible the resumption of peace negotiations.
