The supporters of independence gained a majority in the Catalan Parliament after the snap elections

Of the party campaigning for the independence of Catalonia, won a majority in the regional Parliament (Generalitat) by results of calculation of 99.89% of votes, according to La Vanguardia.

It is noted that the defeated center-left «Citizens – the Civil party» (37 seats). Another unionist party – the socialist party of Catalonia – will get 17 seats. Together they will have 54 seats.

Party «Together for Catalonia» the former head of the Generalitat de Carles Pokdemon (34) took second place, «Republican Left of Catalonia» (32 seats) – third, «the Candidacy of national unity» (four places) – the sixth.
