The removal of Yegor Sobolev, the head of the Committee was supported by MPs from the MFP popular front, the Opposition bloc, «Renaissance» and the Radical party

The parliamentary Committee on combating corruption at the meeting on Wednesday voted for the resignation of its leader, MP from «Samopomich» Yegor Sobolev. It is reported by the correspondent of the edition «GORDON».

For the removal of Sobolev voted 12 MPs:

  • Ivan peace and Sergey Dunayev – the Opposition bloc;
  • Michiel Lano – «Renaissance»;
  • Andrew Nemirovsky, Igor Artyushenko, Tatyana Rychkova, Ivan Melnychuk, Yuriy Buglak, Oleg Barna – The Petro Poroshenko Bloc;
  • Konstantin mateychenko and Yuriy Savchuk – «people’s front»;
  • Igor Popov, the Radical party.

Abstained – Sobolev and the people’s Deputy from «popular front» Yury Timoshenko.

Voted against the people’s Deputy from BPP Sergey Leshchenko, Igor Lutsenko (Batkivshchyna), as well as independent deputies Dmytro Dobrodomov, Yuri Derevyanko, Oleg Osukhovsky, Vladimir Parasyuk, Borislav Birch and Viktor Chumak.

Today people’s deputies of Ukraine from the bloc of Petro Poroshenko, «popular front» and «Renaissance» initiated resignation Sobolev and recognised its work unsatisfactory.

According to the law «On committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine», the head of the Committee can elect or remove members of Parliament by voting for the relevant resolution.

The head of the Committee may be recalled from office at his request or in case of unsatisfactory work for posts, but also for other reasons that make impossible his further stay in office.
