The refusal of the current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk suggested the coalition from the candidates for government positions may lead to his resignation. The leader of the faction «Block of Petro Poroshenko» Yuriy Lutsenko said in comments to journalists on Thursday, 4 February 2016, informs UNIAN.
«If the Prime Minister does not want to form a coalition really a responsible government and will reject candidates just because he doesn’t want to work with them, then there may be a resolution on the dismissal. Then, of course, will come the parliamentary crisis and then the search will begin, who will become Prime Minister,» — said Lutsenko.
He also said that there is no candidate for the post of Prime Minister.
According to Lutsenko, the faction «Association «Samopomich» declares that they have at least three candidates.
At this Lutsenko noted that «even if one called and I’ll be happy because I have pictures with the Bunny ended for Facebook, then maybe something new will be».
As reported earlier, Lutsenko stated that the continued stay of Yatsenyuk as Prime Minister will depend on the government’s report in Parliament. The report is planned to hear at plenary week from 16 to 19 February.
The faction «BPP» at the meeting on 1 February approved candidates then the vacant positions in the Cabinet.
The candidacy of Alexei Goncharenko was invited to the post of Minister of health, to the post of Minister of ecology — of Hlib zahorii, first Vice Prime Minister — Vitaliy Kovalchuk, Deputy Prime Minister for European integration — Olga Belkov, Minister of education Alexander Spivakovsky and the position of the head of the Ministry of culture Yevhen Nishchuk.
