The Polish opposition has stopped the protest in Parliament

The liberal opposition of Poland ceased to protest in Parliament, which began about a month ago in connection with the adoption of a new law limiting the presence of the press at meetings.

On Thursday 12 January, reports «Interfax-Ukraine» with reference to the Western media.

«We have achieved the resumption of the presence of the press in the Parliament… we have decided to end our protest,» said leader of the opposition party Civic platform, Grzegorz Schetyna.

Earlier it was reported that members of the «Civic platform» refused to leave the Parliament building until he would revise the law limiting access of the press to the meetings of parliamentarians, previously introduced by the conservative party «Law and justice».

Later the opposition was also added the requirement to cancel the adoption of a new budget that had to take in another part of the building of the Parliament, without the participation of the members of the «Civic platform».
