The Parliament has submitted the draft rename Dnepropetrovsk

In the Parliament received the law on renaming of the city of Dnepropetrovsk in the Dnieper river as part of decommunization. On 2 February on the page in Facebook reported to have submitted this law non-faction Deputy Andriy Denysenko.

«Registered spreekt the decree of the Verkhovna Rada about the renaming of Dnepropetrovsk on the Dnieper. In fact, this is required by the provisions of the law on the decommunization, as well as a sense of moral duty before the memory of the victims of the totalitarian regime,» he wrote.

We will note, according to the poll, or 90.5% of residents of Dnepropetrovsk support the preservation of the name of their town.

Earlier, first Deputy head of the Rada of Andriy paruby reported that the Parliament until 21 February 2016 for submission of the Ukrainian national memory Institute will take a decision on renaming of settlements.
