Observers special monitoring mission of the OSCE does not provide information from surveillance cameras installed on the tower in Shirokino (Donetsk region), any of the parties to the conflict in the Donbass, said the first Deputy head of the OSCE SMM Alexander Hg.

«I would like to stress once again that photos and video taken by a surveillance camera will be used and analysed solely by the OSCE SMM, the information is transmitted in encrypted form and not available to anyone else,» said Hg «Interfax-Ukraine», answering an appropriate question.

According to him, the camera position is the most suitable from the standpoint of visibility, since it allows to monitor on both sides of the demarcation line. «The location of the camera was chosen through discussions with all stakeholders and with all agreed, including with the Armed forces of Ukraine», — said Hg.

He said that the camera operates continuously and is currently in test mode. «After testing the information obtained from the images will be used for reporting and monitoring. We can also consider installing more cameras in the East of Ukraine», — said Hg.

As reported, the journalist Andrew Tsaplienko wrote in Facebook that the video of the OSCE near Shirokino takes position forces ATO, but when they fired off.

The representative of the General staff Vladislav Seleznev explained that the OSCE is not interested in fighters, because those already identified positions of the Ukrainian military using drones.

In addition, the General staff said that after the installation of the cameras, the situation in Shirokino stabilized.
