The number of rapes after online Dating has grown six times

Over the past five years, the number of rape-related sites and Dating apps has grown in Britain by almost six times. About it writes The Independent, citing data from the National Agency in the UK to combat crime (National Crime Agency, NCA), reports UKRINFORM.

In 2009, 33 resident of the United Kingdom stated that were raped by people they had met online, then in 2014, such statements turned 184.

Thus in NCA note: not all victims are hesitant to contact the police, so the actual number of cases may be much higher.

About 85% of rape victims after they met in the network were women; 42% aged 20 to 29 years and 24% between 40 and 49 years.

Sites and Dating apps are used by about 9 million Britons.

Recall also that the number of rapes and domainlist in Europe is growing because of the wave of migrants.
