The new President of Gambia, has returned home

On 26 January the new President of the Gambia Adam barrow returned home and assumed their duties. Barrow returned to the Gambia after his predecessor left the country, reports the BBC.

Previously Adam barrow said that the state Treasury was empty after the previous leader Yahya Jammeh left the country.

We will remind, on January 18 divisions of the army of Senegal entered the territory of the Gambia. The purpose of the operation called «Restoration of democracy» was to force former President, Ail Jammeh to cede power Adam barrow, elected the new head of state.

About the participation in military operations also said Nigeria and Ghana. In total, the operation involved about seven thousand troops from countries of the Economic community of West African countries (ECOWAS).
