The new head of national police of the Lvov area became Sereda

The new chief of the National police in the Lviv region appointed police General of the third rank Valery Sereda.

The report also notes that the former head of national police region Dmitry Zagariya was appointed head of the new office, personnel control, anti-corruption and lustration of the National police of Ukraine, which will deal with the selection and monitoring of the quality of personnel of the National police of Ukraine.

The official presentation of the new head of national police region staff will be held today in the main Department of the National police in the Lviv region.

Police General of the third rank Valery Sereda — 2012 worked at Lviv state University of internal Affairs, and in 2014 until today, was rector of the University. Dr. of legal Sciences, associate Professor. The General experience of service in law enforcement bodies of Ukraine — 25 years.

Police Colonel Dmitry Zagariya has about 30 years experience of service in law enforcement bodies, has passed a way from the ordinary policeman to the police Colonel, was awarded the order «For courage» III degree and the medal «Defender of Fatherland». Within two years he was the head of the Main Department of MIA of Ukraine in Lviv region, from November 2015 to 12 December 2016 – headed the Main Directorate of the National police of Ukraine in Lviv region.

Presentation of concepts and strategies of the newly created Department for combating corruption and lustration of the National police of Ukraine will be held in February 2017.

Earlier, after the dismissal of Khatia Dekanoidze, the acting head of the National police of Ukraine Vadim Troyan said he was ready to take part in the competition for the position of head of national police.
