The number of hacker attacks on the system of the Alliance has increased in 2016 by 60%, said NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with German newspaper Die Welt. He claims that most associated with state institutions, but country-specific calls, writes NEWSru.com.
According to Stoltenberg, every month of 2016, NATO recorded and reflected to 500 attacks.

He also said that many countries-members of NATO encounter cyber-attacks, and the Alliance provides them with support in addressing this problem.
Stoltenberg said that the actual topic of cyber security will be one of the main at the upcoming NATO summit.
