The national anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has completed the investigation against the former people’s Deputy from «popular front» Mykola Martynenko, said the press service of the Ministry.
January 9, he opened access to criminal proceedings.
NABU said that Martynenko charged with committing crimes under part 3 of article 27, part 5 St. 191 (appropriation of the organization an organized group of another’s property through abuse of their official position, made in especially large size) the Criminal code (CC) of Ukraine; part 1 of Art. 255 (creating criminal organization with the purpose of committing especially serious crimes, the leadership of such an organization, participation in the crimes committed by such organization) of the criminal code; part 3 of article 27, part 4 of article 28, part 5 of article 191 (organization of a criminal organization taking possession of another’s property through abuse of their official position, made in especially large size) the criminal code and part 3 of article 27, part 4 of article 28, part 3 of article 209 (organization of legalization (laundering) of criminal organization, proceeds of crime committed in especially large size) the criminal code.
It is noted that as suspects in the case are also active leaders GP «VostGOK», state concern «Nuclear fuel», NJSC «Naftogaz Ukraine», JSC «United mining and chemical company» and structural subdivision of SOE «NNEGC «Energoatom».
NABU recalled that the investigation into the appropriation of funds of «Energoatom» in the amount of €6.4 million detectives Bureau began in December of 2015. In October 2017 Martynenko reported about suspicion.
Investigation concerning the appropriation of funds of GP «VostGOK» $17,28 million began in December of 2015. On suspicion Martynenko announced on 20 April 2017.
In November 2017, the procedural head – the Prosecutor of the Specialized anti – corruption Prosecutor’s office has decided to combine these industries. Now the suspects in this case are 11 people, five of them are wanted.
According to the head of SAP nazara Golodnitsky, a former Deputy threatens till 12 years of imprisonment.
22 APR Solomensky regional court of Kiev chose a measure of restraint Martynenko in the form of personal guarantees. He stood up the 18 politicians.
Former MP ordered to report change of residence, be on the call for investigation and to refrain from communicating with a number of individuals appearing in the materials suspicions, and surrender of the passport for travel abroad. The latter obligation was canceled on December 6.
