Terrorist organization «Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant» («IGIL») retreated from the city of Al-Shadadi in the South of the Syrian province of Hasakah, as well as from the settlement Khanasir in the province of Aleppo, reports February 25, 2016 AA.

The militants of the Islamic state have left Al-Shadadi after fierce clashes with fighters from the Kurdish PYD party, seeks for the establishment of an independent Kurdistan in the border areas with Turkey’s current Syrian Arab Republic (SAR).

Thousands of residents were forced to flee to the province of Deir-ez-Zor.

In turn, the Russian space forces bombed the settlement Khanasir. Following this, the terrorists of the Islamic state have left the positions of the forces of Bashar al-Assad.

According to Reuters, the city of Hanser is the key to obtain the Assad regime’s control over the highway leading to Aleppo.

Hanser is located approximately 50 kilometres South-East of Aleppo. STATE-owned it only for the last two days.

«It is unclear whether the newly opened the road to Aleppo, which was closed as a result of the attack. The government had to use this road to access the city because the rebels control located to the West of the main highway leading to Aleppo,» — said in the message.

As reported, the United States of America and the Russian Federation agreed to start the truce in Syria on February 27. The agreement was the result of held over the weekend talks between U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

At the same time, according to Western media, the truce would not apply to the jihadist Sunnis of the «ID» and «Frente al-Nusra», which is considered a branch of al-Qaida.
