The Ministry of education and science is developing a plan of internationalization of education, particularly in terms of optimizing the process of entering to Ukrainian universities for foreign students and the simplification of the conditions for employment of foreign teachers. This was stated by the Minister of education and science, Liliya Hrynevych , during a meeting with the Ambassador of Kuwait in Ukraine , Rashid Hammad al-Advani, the press service of the Ministry of education.
«Now the Ministry of education and science is working on a plan of internationalization of higher education in Ukraine, study all the weaknesses which are associated with the activities of the migration service and other agencies, procedures which complicate the process of admission and training of foreign students,» — said Grinevich.
This plan is also expected to be studied and simplified the conditions for the employment of foreign teachers, in particular, regarding the granting of the visa.
«We need to increase the number of teachers and native speakers. Such training will greatly enhance the chances of our children efficiently learn a foreign language acceptable for professional use level», — said the Minister.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues of deepening cooperation in the field of higher education. In particular, the Ambassador announced the changing approaches of the state of Kuwait to the recognition of diplomas.
«We want to follow the format when you do not recognize diplomas of a particular state, and diplomas from specific universities. In the same format we are working with America, France and other countries. We are interested that our students have studied at the best universities, which is really difficult and useful to learn. Ukraine has strong institutions that have authority in Kuwait and whose graduates have become known and successful people. In particular, our famous heart surgeon, who is called the God of the heart, obtained medical education in Ukraine», — said al-Advani.
Earlier it became known that the Czech Republic will help Ukraine to reform education.
