The mayor of the Polish Przemysl in Poland Robert Homa for five years denied entry to Ukraine. He stated this at a press conference in Przemysl, reports ZAXID.NET.
This information was confirmed by press Secretary of the state border service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan. According to him, the border guards fulfilled the requirement of «one of the law enforcement bodies of Ukraine».
As reported by the Polish newspaper Zycie Podkarpackie, January 17, Homa was not let on the territory of Ukraine. The mayor of Przemysl went to Lviv at the invitation of the Consul General of Poland.
«After 30 minutes of waiting I was wrapped with the border and said that I can’t enter Ukraine. So decided the security Service of Ukraine in a letter of 29 December last year,» said Homa.
