The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the Netherlands mark rutte coordinated joint actions in the framework of the investigation of the crash of flight MH17. This was discussed at their meeting in the framework of the working visit of the President of Ukraine to Turkey, the press service of the head of state.
«The leaders of Ukraine and the Netherlands have also coordinated their joint actions in the framework of the investigation of the crash of flight MH17, shot down by Russian insurgents in July 2014», — stated in the message.
The main issues on the agenda of talks between the two leaders began the entry into force of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, as well as completion of the process of making the EU decision on visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
The interlocutors also discussed the situation in the Donbass. In particular, Poroshenko stressed that he expects the solidarity and unity of the EU in the issue of support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, namely the continuation of the EU sanctions against Russia until full implementation of the Minsk agreements it and restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
July 17, 2014, at approximately 16.20, disappeared from radar screens aircraft airline «Malaysian airlines» Boeing 777, a flight MH17 on a route Amsterdam — Kuala Lumpur. As it became clear later, he fell near the town of Torez Donetsk region.

According to eyewitnesses, the plane exploded in the air, dead bodies scattered in a radius of 4 kilometers.

July 29 Russia at the meeting of the security Council of the United Nations vetoed a resolution on the establishment of an international Tribunal investigation into the shooting down of the plane Malaysian airlines Boeing 777 flight MH17 over Ukraine on 17 July 2014 and the deaths of 298 people.
11 members of the meeting voted «for» the creation of the Tribunal, 1 against and 3 abstentions (China, Angola and Venezuela).
During the debate, the permanent representative of Russia in the UN Security Council , Vitaly Churkin, disgraced and in fact blamed Ukraine for the tragedy of MH-17. Also notorious diplomat made the symbolic reservation.
«We hope that the investigation will understand, and impunity is going to come against those who shot down the plane, and those who have sent him into a war zone», — he said.
The countries participating in the investigation will be to seek prosecution of the perpetrators of the crash of flight MH-17 despite the Russian veto, and are preparing a new mechanism of justice.

On 31 August the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that the Tribunal can create by the conclusion of the agreement between the five countries.
October 13, 2015 Deputy foreign Minister for European integration Olena zerkal said that the statements of Russia concerning involvement of the International criminal court to investigate the Boeing 777 crash are incorrect, we consider a variant of the hybrid Tribunal. Serkal stressed that neither Ukraine nor Russia nor Malaysia are not parties to the ICC, therefore, the statements of Russia concerning the involvement of the court to the investigation of the crash is nonsense.
