The lawyer Saakashvili said that his client does not intend today to go on interrogation in SBU

The lawyer of the leader of the «Movement novih forces,» Saakashvili Ruslan Chernolutsky stated that the agenda on interrogation in security Service of Ukraine, which was received by his client, was drawn up with violations. He said this to journalists near the building of the Main investigation Department of the SBU, reports the correspondent of the edition «GORDON».

In this regard, the lawyer and his client does not intend to go for questioning to the SBU.

According to Chernovetskogo specified in the summons two investigative actions are not urgent, so you don’t have to make a single document.

He pointed out that Saakashvili and at the same time cause for questioning and for taking of samples for examination.

«We have already asked to disconnect these investigations. Already filed a petition. Today, we do not intend to go to the office of the investigator to conduct investigative actions», – said the lawyer.

On the evening of 8 December, Saakashvili in Kiev detained and placed in temporary detention on suspicion in receiving from Russia nearly $500 thousand in funding meetings to overthrow the Ukrainian government.

The Prosecutor demanded for the policy measure in the form of house arrest wearing an electronic bracelet. December 11, Pechersky district court of Kiev decided to reject the prosecution’s request and released Saakashvili in court. The General Prosecutor of Ukraine filed an appeal. Meeting of Appellate court of Kiev was held on December 22, but it was postponed because of the Pechersk district court handed the case materials.

Saakashvili was summoned for questioning by the SBU on 22 December, but the politician’s attorney said that his client was «physically not able» to come from the session in Appellate court of Kiev.

Then Saakashvili was summoned for questioning on December 26.
