The IOC has deprived Ukrainians of 10 Olympic medals for doping — sport

For all the time the international Olympic Committee has deprived Ukrainian sportsmen won 10 medals at the summer Olympics in 2004, 2008 and 2012 for doping. This was reported in the Ministry of youth and sports for the query «Ukrainian news».

Yuriy Bilonog was stripped of Olympic gold in Greece in the shot put. Olena Olefirenko was left without a bronze of the same Games won in rowing.

Five Ukrainians were deprived of the rewards of the Beijing Olympics in 2008: Olga Box (silver, weightlifting), Lyudmila Blonska (silver, track and field), Natalya Davydova (bronze, weightlifting), Vasyl Fedoryshyn (silver, wrestling), Denis Yurchenko (bronze, athletics).

The IOC is also deprived of Ukrainian athletes Yulia Kalina bronze medals in competitions in weightlifting and Alexander Friday silver medals in competitions in javelin throwing, which they received at the Olympics 2012 in London.

In may 2016, the IOC and the World anti-doping Agency announced the re-checking «using the most modern methods of scientific analysis» samples taken from athletes at the Olympics 2008 and 2012.

It was revealed more than 100 positive doping tests, including the Champions and prize-winners of Games.

In March 2017, the IOC has deprived the Ukrainian athlete Victoria Tereshchuk bronze medals of the Olympic games 2008 in Beijing.
