The interior Minister has announced a new patrol police in the small towns and villages

The Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov announced the emergence of a new patrol police in small towns and villages of Ukraine. This is the Minister wrote on Facebook.

«Experiments have shown that this organization of public security significantly reduces the time of arrival of the operational group to call — in the cities the time is reduced from 15-20 minutes to 7, and in the village from 1-2 hours to 20 minutes,» he writes, adding that, as a consequence, increases the efficiency of work in place and the number of offences disclosed «without delay». In particular, the number of calls to the police in pilot sites increased by 40-50 percent.

«In the coming days, we begin the introduction of a new principle of organization of work of district departments and police stations in three regions: Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv. Start with the Kiev region. Just today on patrol small towns and villages of Kyiv region there were 83 new groups in 11 geographical divisions of the Kiev region.

Next the police will come out of the classrooms to the streets in all 430 small and medium towns, 880 villages and 28 thousand villages of Ukraine, home to 24 million people — half the country», — stressed the head of the interior Ministry and says that all will be formed 1476 rapid response teams, which will involve 12 thousand trained police officers.

Previously Avakov has promised to conduct a full recertification of all personnel in the system of internal Affairs bodies. Of the bodies of internal Affairs will be fired for nearly 600 police officers who are not qualified, according to the recruitment Centre of the National police.
