The IMF will take a break in the program of crediting of Ukraine with the change of government, Jaresko is convinced

The Minister of Finance Natalia Jaresko went from the answer to the question about his reaction to the proposal of the Minister of economic development and trade of Aivaras Abromavicius to lead a government of technocrats instead of current Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

She said this on air of «freedom of speech» on ICTV on Monday 8 February.

«The truth is, personalities do not want to speak today. We need to focus not on personalities but on principles,» she said in response to a question about the attitude to his possible Premiership.

This Jaresko said that the international monetary Fund (IMF) in the case of a change of government in Ukraine will take a break in the program of the eff and EFF will continue only through the willingness of new governments to honour the commitments made by their predecessors.

«They will wait until it will be clear what the Executive power and whether she is bound to meet those conditions, which has provided 6.7 billion $ and probably that’s it, the next tranche of 1.7 billion dollars», — she said, and stressed that the country’s cooperation with the IMF at the present time is really critical, as other lenders are willing to give money to the Ukraine for such a long time and at such preferential rates.

As it was reported, who resigned from the post of Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine aivaras abromavicius sees as an effective Prime Minister the current Minister of Finance Natalia Yaresko. «I nominated Jaresko with the condition that the new Prime Minister herself can recruit Ministers with the full freedom of choice,» he said. According to Abromavicius, as Prime Minister Jaresko will be able to continue its reforms and will be able to remain independent from certain influential political forces.
