The FSB of Russia said that he had found the grave of the leader of the Chechen Islamist Umarov

On the territory of Ingushetia was discovered the burial site of the head of the clandestine Islamist organization «Caucasus Emirate» Doku Umarov, informs «Interfax» with reference to the public relations Center of Federal security service of the Russian Federation.

Umarov’s grave was found in a wooded mountain «in the targeted long-term operational-search activities».

According to the publication, along with Umarov buried four members of his group, which was allegedly destroyed in a special operation in September 2013.

25 September, REN TV reported that the alleged remains of the head of the «Caucasus Emirate» of Doku Umarov taken to Moscow for examination.

Umarov became the leader of the Chechen separatists in 2006, since then, the Russian authorities have many times declared him dead.

In April 2014, the head of the FSB Alexander Bortnikov said that Umarov was killed in a special operation. However, the body was found.

The «Caucasus Emirate» is suspected of committing several major terrorist attacks in Russia, in particular, of undermining the train «Nevsky Express» in 2009, bombings in the Moscow metro in 2010 and the explosion at Domodedovo airport in 2011.
