The European Parliament adopted a resolution on anti-Russian propaganda, al-Qaida and ISIS

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on anti-Russian media. The resolution called «Strategic communication of the EU as a counter-propaganda of the third parties», it was proposed by a Polish MP Anna Fotyga.

The document says that the promotion is part of the «hybrid war» and aimed to «distort the truth, to sow doubt and enmity between countries of the Union,» reports «Tigania».

In the document, in particular, pointed out that Russia provides financial support to opposition parties and organizations in the countries — EU members, as well as «uses the factor of bilateral relations for the separation of members of the community.»

Propaganda, said in a resolution directed against journalists, particular politicians and EU citizens.

Basic information of the threats the European Union is Sputnik, RT, Fund «Russian world» and subordinated to the Russian Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Federal Agency «Rossotrudnichestvo», the document says.

Among other sources of propaganda, which, according to the resolution, must oppose the European Union, called the group «al-Qaeda» and «Islamic state».

As previously reported, the foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament approved the draft resolution on 10 October, and 21 October, the European Parliament considered it in the first reading. In the document, in particular, says that Russia aggressively uses wide range of instruments, including special funds, broadcasters in different languages, news agencies, civic and religious groups, social networks and «trolls» on the Internet.

It is noted that the Russian authorities do this in order to question European values and to provoke the division of Europe.

Russia is rapidly increasing its activities in Europe, the aim of which is to spread Russian influence and Russian hegemony, undermining the sovereignty of Eastern European countries. One of the main strategies of Russia is the falsification of history, the resolution States.
