The European Commission has allocated 3 million euros for the certification of products of the Ukrainian pilots

The state aviation service of Ukraine signed with the European Commission an agreement on harmonization with the European system of certification of products of the Ukrainian aviation industry that the European Commission will be allocated 3 million euros, reports «Interfax-Ukraine».

«We want all of our certification standards consistent with EU norms. The agreement provides for the implementation of these goals within five years. Maybe we can finish earlier,» — commented on the signing of the agreement the Deputy Minister of infrastructure on European integration Viktor Dovgan.

According to him, the signing of this agreement will lead to the recognition of the EU of Ukrainian certificates, primarily for the production of Antonov and other enterprises.

As reported, on 20 December, the state enterprise «Antonov» presented a first prototype of a new transport aircraft An-132. Presentation of the aircraft took place with the participation of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenkoand the leadership of the state concern «Ukroboronprom» and the enterprise «Antonov», which is part of the concern.

Also present were representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, addressing customer and partner in the implementation of the project.

According to Poroshenko, by 2035 the demand for such aircraft in the world will be about 260 units.
