After officials and doctors about the possibility of increased protests in Russia, sociologists said. The patience of Russians in the conditions of economic crisis will last another year and a half, then there is a risk the mass protests. As reported by RBC, according to the report of the HSE Natalia Tikhonovapresented at the conference «Levada-Center», writes NEWSru.com.
Recall, represented at the event by the index of the state of Affairs in the country showed that the level of depressive moods in the past year peaked for all time of carrying out of polls of the center. Russians in 2015 increasingly began to experience envy, anger, aggression and bitterness towards others, fear, resentment and despair.
Share of affluent population, the proceeds of which constitute not less than two living wages, is only 25% in the country. Among the poor Russians 12% very abruptly slid into extreme poverty, have lost their jobs and social status, says Tikhonov. Most, as noted in the report, suffered the Metropolitan middle class and rural residents: «the Crisis seriously hit on two population groups: it is Moscow — the most young and skilled — and the citizens of «little Russia» — villages and towns».
28% of the population in Moscow and St. Petersburg worked for increases to the earnings on the main job. Many suffered from the disappearance of the additional sources of income and the forced abandonment of traditional lifestyles — overseas travel, good food. The middle class still thinks it’s something to allow, but does not demonstrate any career achievements or the acquisition of real estate, said the expert.
So far, a marked drop in their standard of living does not cause a sharp protest against the government because the Russians blame the crisis on external factors, and a high quality of life generally is not within the core values of most Russians. Such goals in life, as an opportunity «to become rich» and «to influence what happens in society» set themselves only 2% and 5% of respondents respectively.
If the residents of the capitals still are trying to find extra income and get additional work, village residents by increasing hours of work on average four hours per week and overall productivity does not increase their revenue.
«In villages, do not receive money for overtime. Additional work is dictated by fear of dismissal,» says Tikhonov.
«Beneficiaries» of the crisis, the sociologist calls the privatized companies — income workers increased slightly. At the same time deteriorated the situation of the whole private sector.
As suggested by Tikhonov, a year and a half, a rating of confidence in the government may fall, and the latent discontent of the Russians, their position will grow. This can lead to a wave of protest actions, says the expert of Economics. She recalled how in 2011, there have been numerous protests for fair elections, but had not thought that the electoral process bother the inhabitants of the country. The report explains that the force of protest has caused «a General psychological state of the population.»
In 2011, Russian society is in a phase of bifurcation, when it is impossible to predict what will happen and what decisions will be taken by the authority. Unpopular moves can be superimposed on severe psychological condition, indicates Tikhonov, noting: Russia will have Duma elections, and then presidential elections in 2018, so the government will do everything to try to suppress protest moods.
Note that if a year ago there were protests by doctors and teachers, now the most active in this respect — the protesters against the new tax truckers, currency food. In addition, in the Krasnodar pensioners protested against the abolition of privileges, and in Moscow unhappy with paid Parking.
Last year experts warned that the decline of free medical care will lead to higher mortality and poses a threat of mass protests. In addition, the head of the Ulyanovsk region Sergey Morozov with reference to the «sociological studies» said that «half the population» due to the deteriorating situation in the economy on the square. Meanwhile, interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev spoke about the reduction of street protest in the country.
Note, international sanctions, low oil prices and falling rouble threatens Russia’s default. Many experts believe that for the sake of the economy, the Kremlin will be replaced by an aggressive policy of «conciliatory» and start implementing the Minsk agreements, gradually retreating from the Ukrainian Donbass.
In April of 2015 in Russia conducted training for the Internal troops, which worked the counter in the event of a possible «Maidan».
31 December the President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the law according to which employees of FSB have the right to shoot at the crowd of people and children and women.
