The Crimean Tatar Diaspora in Turkey will work to open schools, kindergartens, cultural centers of our language and culture in Ukraine. This was announced by MP of Ukraine, representative of the President of Ukraine for Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Dzhemilev on his page in Facebook.

The Crimean Tatars intend to establish cultural centers in Chongar

«Platform of the Crimean Tatar organizations of Turkey, which brings together 43 of the Crimean Tatar organizations across the country, February 6-7, held its regular meeting in Ankara. The meeting adopted decisions on assistance to our people in solving urgent issues,» he said.

«Representatives of the Crimean Tatar Diaspora plan to support the initiatives related to the opening of the Crimean Tatar schools and classes, kindergartens, mosques and cultural centers for the development of Crimean Tatar language and culture», — said Dzhemilev.

According to him, it is planned to create similar institutions in places of residence of Crimean Tatars in the Ukraine in the Kherson area.

Dzhemilev stressed that all decisions taken by the Platform of the Crimean Tatar organizations of Turkey, consistent with the principles and decisions of Kurultay of the Crimean Tatar people, Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the world Congress of Crimean Tatars.

«In the high-density accommodation of the Crimean Tatars in Ukraine (Chongar, Genichesk district) will create religious and cultural centres for the development of Crimean Tatar language and culture», — is told in the Declaration.

It was also decided to conduct on February 27, with the anniversary of the occupation of the Crimea in Ankara at the Embassy of Russia in other cities rallies condemning the occupation of Crimea.

This year mourning meeting devoted to the 18th may – Day of memory of victims of deportation of Crimean Tatars, will be held on 15 may in Ankara on the area of Tandogan with the participation of all associations.
