The constitutional court of Moldova will consider the suspension of Dodona as President of the country

The constitutional court of Moldova will consider the request of deputies of the Democratic party about temporary suspension of Igor Dodon from the post of President on 2 January. About it reports the local edition Realitatea.md.

Dec 28, deputies appealed to the constitutional court with the requirement to state circumstances in which required the suspension of the current President from his duties, wrote the publication Newsmaker.md.

The Democrats justified their demands by the repeated refusal of the President of the country Dodon to sign a decree on the appointment of new government members proposed by political power.

The socialist Igor Dodon won the presidential election in Moldova on November 13, 2016. His inauguration took place on 24 December.

21 September 2017 in the Parliament of Moldova has begun collecting signatures for a bill on the beginning of procedure of removal of Dodon from office.
