The company Kolomoisky filed a lawsuit in the Hague against Russia

«Ukrinternet» (Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine), PJSC Dniproazot (Dneprodzerzhinsk), «Luksor» (Kiev), «Libset» (Kyiv) and «Aberon LTD» (Dnepropetrovsk), associated with the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky filed a new lawsuit against the Russian Federation in the Permanent court of arbitration in the Hague.

This is stated on the website of the court, transfers «RBC-Ukraine».

In particular, Dniproazot, which produces ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers, is part of the group «Privat» Kolomoisky and Gennady Bogolyubov. In addition, among the founders of the «Aberon» structures affiliated with «Privat» Kolomoisky.

Reportedly, a lawsuit filed at the Hague under the rules of the UN Commission on international trade law (UNCITRAL) and the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 27 November 1998 on the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments.

However, the site does not specify the amount of the claim. In addition, Russia’s official representatives to participate in court proceedings has been appointed.

«Ukrainian-Russian agreement on protection of investments cannot serve as the basis for the creation of the arbitration Tribunal for the settlement of the claims of the plaintiffs», — stated in the Russian Federation.

Earlier it was reported that Hague’s Arbitration court accepted for consideration the petition of ex-head of Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration Ihor Kolomoisky in Russia. The plaintiffs are Kolomoisky and the company «the Airport «Belbek».
