The Committee recommended to send back for revision the government bill to increase the fines drivers

The Committee recommended that the Verkhovna Rada Parliament to return for revision prepared by the government bill number 7286, toughening responsibility for violation of traffic rules. This was reported on the Council website.

The bill was registered in Parliament in November.

The government proposes to toughen the penalties for traffic violations that caused injury or death, to increase the fines and possible imposition of administrative penalties, to enter the photo — and video fixing of violations of traffic rules.

It is also the speed limit in settlements to 50 km/h (now 60 km/h).

The Cabinet wants to change the order of issuance of a license. According to the plan of the government, the first law the driver must give two years. If during this period the driver was fined less than three times, the right for 30 years, he gets no exams. Otherwise, for obtaining a «permanent» rights would have to pass the tests.
