The commander of land forces of Canada visited his native village in the Lviv region

The commander of Land forces of Canada, Lieutenant General Paul winnick , during a visit to Ukraine, visited the village Pozdymyr in the Lviv region, where was born his ancestors. This itself winnick announced on 13 November on his page on Twitter.

«I was glad to visit the city Pozdymyr and Rajbansi where my ancestors lived. Thank You,» wrote winnick.

In turn, the Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine Roman Vashchuk added that the Director of the rural school in Pozdymyr gave winnick a few documents from the history of his family.
